TIB Services is a trusted organisation acting on behalf of a primary school based in the Birmingham area, seeking a proactive individual to provide caretaker support on a temporary basis.
About the Role
You will help ensure the school site remains safe, welcoming, and in good working order. This involves general site maintenance, keeping areas clear and tidy, and supporting the school’s day-to-day operations. Your contribution will help create a positive environment for children and staff.
Your Responsibilities
- Carrying out minor repairs and basic DIY tasks around the site
- Unlocking and securing the school premises
- Keeping playgrounds, corridors, and communal areas clear and tidy
- Assisting with routine site checks and safety inspections
- Helping maintain safe access for pupils, staff, and visitors
- Supporting with deliveries and moving items as needed
What We’re Looking For
- Reliable, professional, and proactive attitude
- Practical DIY skills and attention to detail
- Understanding of safeguarding, compliance, and health & safety in a school setting
- Willingness to work as part of a supportive team
