Introducing our Team Members

Courtney, our Candidate Relationship Team Leader, and her team are responsible for speaking to you in the early stages of your application and supporting you through the different stages of the process. They gather information such as your career background, motivations and desired working patterns, as well as telling you more about the role and answering any questions. This ensures that you are suitable for the role, understand the requirements, and are passionate about supporting your community.

Kaitlin, our Operations Manager, and her team work closely with both candidates and schools to find the right fit for every assignment. They ensure that the roles you are placed in align with your skills, availability, and values.

Personal Support That Builds Confidence

Behind the paperwork, there’s people. Our Candidate Relationship Team ensures you’re not just “ticking boxes” but actually prepared for life in school. From interview preparation to guiding you through the vetting process, their focus is on giving you the tools and confidence to succeed while getting you cleared to work in schools.

“For me, excellent customer service is about going the extra mile so candidates feel supported and updated throughout the process. It’s about building strong, lasting relationships.”

Safeguarding Made Simple for Candidates

To work in schools, you need to meet essential safeguarding standards, and we take care of that for you. Every candidate completes a thorough compliance process before starting work. This includes verifying your work history, professional references, right-to-work status, and completing enhanced DBS checks. You’ll also receive free Safeguarding Children Level 2 training and review the Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) guidance every 12 months.

“To ensure candidates fully understand the safeguarding responsibilities of working in a school environment they are all asked at interview ‘What is your understanding of safeguarding children?’ We find this question a vital part of our interview process to assess that the candidates we are hiring have a knowledge of safeguarding and the ability to create a safe learning environment for children.”

All of this means you arrive at your placement fully cleared, confident, and equipped with the knowledge to work safely in a school environment. We handle the paperwork and training so you can focus on starting your role with reassurance and confidence.

Matching You to the Right Placement

Finding the right role isn’t just about filling shifts, it’s about making sure the placement works for you as much as the school. That’s where our Operations Team, led by Kaitlin, comes in.

“Excellent customer service, from a candidate’s perspective, means feeling fully supported while we find the right placement for them. It’s about clear, honest communication that builds long-term trust.”

Kaitlin, Operations Manager

The team takes a flexible approach, adapting placements to suit candidate preferences as well as school requirements. For example, if a school needs split-shift cover, we may place two caretakers instead of one, so the school gets the support it needs while you get the hours that fit your lifestyle.

Preparing for Success

Once we have matched you with a school, Kaitlin's team still keeps in contact to make sure you have everything you need. We also call you during your placement to find out how it's going and if you need any extra support.

“I always advise candidates to bring their DBS and photo ID, plan their journey in advance, and arrive with confidence. Authenticity and professionalism go a long way in making a strong first impression. We also call to check in during your placement so you feel supported every step of the way.”
