Caretaker – Primary School, Trafford (Temporary)

Join us as a Caretaker based in the Trafford area, supporting a local primary school with the everyday running of the site. You will help keep areas clear and tidy, carry out minor repairs, oversee general caretaking duties, unlock and lock the school, and supervise contractors when needed. Your proactive approach will ensure the school remains a safe and welcoming place for children and staff.

Salary: £13.45 per hour (£15.07 per hour including rolled up holiday), paid monthly.

Your Responsibilities

Keeping school areas clear and tidy throughout the site
Carrying out minor repairs and basic maintenance tasks
Letting contractors onto the premises and supervising their work
Locking and unlocking the school at the beginning and end of each day
Supporting the smooth running of the school site with general caretaking duties

What We're Looking For

Reliable, professional, and proactive approach to work
Good DIY skills
Understanding of the importance of safeguarding in a school environment
Awareness of compliance and health & safety procedures
