Caretaker – Primary School (Somerset)

We’re looking for a reliable and proactive caretaker to join a friendly primary school based in the Somerset area. This is a temporary opportunity, offering 10 to 15 hours per week with some flexibility on hours. You’ll play an active part in keeping areas clear and tidy, carrying out basic DIY and minor repairs, helping with porterage, and supporting general site maintenance to create a welcoming environment for pupils and staff. You’ll also carry out basic compliance checks as part of your routine.

Salary: £13.45–£14.80 per hour (£15.07–£16.59 including rolled up holiday pay), paid monthly.

Keeping all areas clear and tidy

Tidying and organising the school site as needed
