Caretaker – Plymouth (Temporary, Afternoon Hours)

We are looking for a reliable and proactive caretaker to join a friendly school team based in the Plymouth area. This temporary role is for afternoon shifts (14:30–16:30), working alongside another on-site staff member to help keep areas clear and tidy and support the smooth running of the school environment.

Pay: £13.45–£14.80 per hour (£15.07–£16.59 including rolled up holiday pay), paid monthly.

Your Responsibilities

Keeping internal and external areas clear and tidy throughout the school
Assisting with basic site tasks and general upkeep
Supporting another on-site team member as needed
Reporting any site issues promptly
Ensuring the safety and security of the school environment

What We're Looking For

Reliable, professional, and proactive approach
DIY skills and confidence handling simple repairs or minor site tasks
Understanding of the importance of safeguarding, compliance, and health & safety in schools
Good communication and teamwork skills
