Caretaker – Primary School (Temporary) – North Tyneside

We are looking for a proactive individual to support a primary school based in the North Tyneside area. This role involves keeping areas clear and tidy, site checks, and supporting the school team with practical tasks. One of your main duties will be helping with furniture moves alongside a staff member, ensuring classrooms and communal spaces are well organised for pupils and staff. Working hours are 7.00am until 3.00pm, Monday to Friday.

Pay: £13.45–£14.80 per hour (£15.07–£16.59 including rolled up holiday pay), paid monthly.

Your Responsibilities

Supporting the school team with moving furniture and equipment
Keeping classrooms, corridors, and outdoor areas clear and tidy
Carrying out basic site checks and minor repairs
Ensuring a safe environment for pupils, staff, and visitors
Following all safeguarding and health & safety procedures
