About the Role
This is a temporary caretaker position working on a rotating weekly schedule: one week from 07:00am to 15:00pm, and the following week from 11:30am to 19:30pm. Your main responsibilities will include opening and closing the school premises, carrying out compliance checks, and supporting with general caretaker duties such as site maintenance and keeping all areas safe and presentable.
Your Responsibilities
- Opening and securing the school buildings at the start and end of the day
- Performing compliance checks as required by the school
- General caretaker duties, including keeping areas clear and tidy
- Basic maintenance and simple repairs to support the smooth running of the site
- Assisting with site safety and monitoring security
- Liaising with school staff to support day-to-day operations
What We're Looking For
- Reliable, professional, and proactive approach to work
- Practical DIY skills and confidence in handling minor repairs
- Understanding of the importance of safeguarding, compliance and health & safety in a school environment
- Ability to communicate clearly and work as part of a team
