Caretaker – Secondary School (Gateshead)

We are looking for a proactive caretaker to join a secondary school site team based in the Gateshead area. In this role, you will help ensure the school’s premises are safe, secure, and well maintained. Typical duties include general caretaking, opening and closing the school, carrying out daily site checks, basic maintenance and DIY, and supporting health and safety compliance. You’ll be working as part of a wider, friendly site team, with shifts available on Thursdays and Fridays (either 6:30am–2:00pm or 12:00pm–8:00pm).

Salary: £13.45 per hour (£15.07 per hour including rolled up holiday pay)
Payment: Monthly
