Caretaker – Primary School (Temporary, Coventry)

Join us for an important after-school role at a primary school based in the Coventry area. This position focuses on ensuring the school is safe and ready for the next day. You will be responsible for locking the site, keeping the hall floor clear and tidy, and carrying out key maintenance checks including water temperature monitoring and basic equipment inspections.

Salary: £13.45-£14.80 per hour (£15.07-£16.59 including rolled up holiday pay), paid monthly.

Your Responsibilities

Locking up the school premises at the end of the day
Keeping the school hall floor clear and tidy
Carrying out routine maintenance checks (e.g., water temperatures, equipment)
Reporting any issues or hazards to the school team

DIY skills and an eye for detail
Understanding of the importance of safeguarding, compliance, and health & safety procedures
