Caretaker – Primary School (Bristol Area)

Support a local primary school in the Bristol area by helping to keep its environment welcoming, safe, and well-maintained. This flexible, temporary role is ideal for someone looking for rewarding work with varied tasks, including general maintenance, DIY jobs, grounds keeping, compliance checks, and securing the school each evening at 6:30pm. Working hours are Monday to Thursday or Friday, with flexibility as long as the daily lockup is completed.

Salary: £13.45-£14.80 per hour (£15.07-£16.59 including rolled up holiday pay), paid monthly.

Your Responsibilities

Carrying out general site maintenance and DIY tasks
Grounds keeping and keeping areas clear and tidy
Completing compliance checks as required
Securing the school site by locking up at 6:30pm
Supporting a positive, safe environment for pupils and staff

Reliable, professional, and proactive approach to work
Practical DIY and general maintenance skills
Understanding of safeguarding, compliance, and health & safety in a school setting
