Caretaker – Bristol (Temporary)

We are seeking a reliable and proactive caretaker to join a school based in the Bristol area. This role offers the chance to handle a variety of hands-on tasks, from general maintenance and DIY to porterage and compliance checks, ensuring the school site remains safe, welcoming, and in good working order. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am–4pm, with some flexibility possible.

Pay: £13.45–£14.80 per hour (£15.07–£16.59 including rolled up holiday pay), paid monthly.

Your Responsibilities

Carrying out general maintenance and DIY tasks around the site
Ensuring all areas are kept clear and tidy
Performing porterage duties as required
Conducting routine compliance checks and keeping records up to date
Supporting the overall upkeep and smooth running of the school

Reliable, professional, and proactive approach

Understanding of the importance of safeguarding children and young people
Awareness of compliance and health & safety in a school setting
