About the Role
We are looking for a proactive Caretaker to join a friendly primary school based in the Birmingham area. This is a temporary position with flexible working patterns—either starting early before children arrive or later in the day after pupils have gone home, for around 7.5 hours per day. You’ll play a vital part in keeping the school site safe, functional, and welcoming. Tasks will include DIY, general maintenance, porterage, general upkeep, and there may be a need to assist with fire alarm checks.

Your Responsibilities
- Carrying out general DIY repairs and site maintenance
- Ensuring all areas are kept clear and tidy
- Assisting with porterage around the site (moving equipment and supplies)
- Supporting the general upkeep of the school grounds and buildings
- Potentially assisting with routine fire alarm checks
