"For a good site manager or caretaker you definitely have to have good organisational skills, you need to think on your feet, you need to problem solve," she explains. Elizabeth also emphasises the inclusive nature of the role and encourages other women to consider it. "Females can do the role just as well as men," she notes. "If you have those transferable skills, there's no reason to say why this role wouldn't be perfect for you. If you're good at DIY, you like taking care of gardens and outside maintenance, then this is a great role for females.”
